Special Award of Appreciation

At the FSA 2000 President’s Banquet in Orlando, Imp. Potentate Ralph W. Semb (r) presented
FSA Webmaster Gary Schweinshaupt a special plaque in appreciation for creating
and maintaining the Official FSA Website. The award was issued by FSA 2000 President
Ill. Sir Tom Embree (2nd from right) and FSA 2000 Director General Ill. Sir Michael Juett (l).

This was quite a surprise, and a wonderful honor to receive this beautiful award. It was a pleasure to work with FSA 2000 President Ill. Sir Tom Embree and FSA 2000 Director General Ill. Sir Michael Juett and all of the FSA officers and committee chairman. I thank them all for their help in making the Website a success.

In this first year of having an 'Official' Florida Shrine Association Website, we have made a lot of progress. All Florida Shrine Association Temples now have Websites, and the directories we have established here will help us all to communicate with the unit associations and the many nobles and officers that make our association what it is today.

I must say I have a special place in my heart for Ill. Sir Tom Embree, he has been most supportive and appreciative of everything I have attempted to do here on our FSA Website. He also did me the honor of accepting an invitation to be keynote speaker at Sahib's 1998 Rusty Mason Reunion, as a Past Potentate of Bahia Temple and the 1998 Chairmen of the Florida Grand Lodge Masonic Renewal Committee, he made a marvelous impression on the 170 brothers in attendance that night.

I thank Ill. Sir Tom especially, and all the officers of the Florida Shrine Association for this wonderful recognition. I am dedicated to continuing the development of this Website and look forward to working with all Florida Shrine Masons to improve online communications. This is a cooperative effort, we need your contribution to grow, please notify us of names, email addresses, Website addresses and FSA news that should be a part of this Website.
